As has already been said, AT&T will not charge you to use the hotspot feature on your phone, but do keep in miond that all data you use through that hotspot feature will count againt your plan data usage. Computers tend to use a lot more data than most people relaize so 5GB might not last long in you are using the hotspot feature...
